We had another fun "Trunk Or Treat" this year.

Come the First Alliance Church's third annual Halloween Trunk Or Treat this year fun and treats. We will have several families there ready hand out treats to your costumed children.
We will start greeting Trick or Treaters at 6:00 Halloween evening until 8:00. Click "Directions" in the menu for details on how to get to our church building.
Here are a few pictures from last year's Trunk of Treat:

We had our annual picnic today. Great fun was had by all.
We were able to bring ten men from Augusta Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter in Augusta. The Augusta Rescue Mission always has severl men living there full time going through discipleship training. This is a rewarding ministry to get involved in. If you want to learn more about the mission, contact the Webmaster (see link in the main page) or walk in the front door and ask to speak to the facility manager, Reverend CJ (Charles Johnson).
We had three baptisms instead of the two originally planned. Andrew Spires, one of the men from the mission wanted to be baptized. After speaking with Pastor Thomas, it was decided to include him.
Susan Swanson from Care Pregnancy Center spoke to the ladies of First Alliance. Care Pregnancy Center (CPC) has a goal of educating young women about what abortion really is so that they can make an informed decision before it is too late. Planned Parenthood will not give you the facts that CPC will give you.
